I had in hand an English magazine called Stitch (not to be confused with the recent emergence of the American Stitch), a lovely collection of handwork. I needed a second purchase in order to get a really great tote at a really CHEAP price. I looked at other mags, into the crafts and hobbies, through the how-to-art section. Nothing called my name. Back to the crafts (there ought to be a section called Hand Art). A silvery little song called 'Look At Me!" And there was Doodle Stitching. It went straight to top of my A list. With or without tote and mag, this book was going home with me. I keep a sketch journal of ink and watercolor. Now I've started a Stitch Journal. Thank you for the charm, delight, whimsy and heart found from cover to cover. JeanBean
