Pillowcase Project

Here's a pillowcase I embroidered a long time ago, it might look familiar, it's a project in my book Doodle Stitching! :)

I don't have too many projects left from my book (I've given lots of them away as gifts) but this one has been folded on my fabric shelf for a couple of years now, waiting for a purpose in life. I never used it as it doesn't match our bedding, though I love the colors. Well, finally it's purpose has come to light: Craft Hope Project 9, providing fun, colorful pillowcases to kids with cancer.

Craft Hope Spreading seeds of hope one stitch at a time

If you're not familiar with Craft Hope, it's high time you got over to their website to check out the awesome things they've been doing! :) Looking through their past projects brings me chills and tears. Project 9 is one of the easiest projects to do, no matter what your craft, you can get involved!
Craft Hope not only organizes regular craft projects to benefit charities around the world, they've also got a book coming out and I am thrilled to have been asked to do a project for it! I'll be sharing that with you very soon, as well as having a giveaway, so stick around!
