crocheted blanket!

crochet blanket corner
I finally finished it! it's small (40x52 inches) and not perfect but I'm pretty happy with it. :) I think the edging is my favorite part. It's definitely the biggest thing I've crocheted. Lots of inspiration and tutorials came from attic24 If you're interested in crocheting anything, this is a great place to start.

I was off and on about the colors the whole time I was working on it, but in the end I think I like them. I wish yarns came in as many colors as embroidery floss! ;)

Here's the whole thing.

I like how it looks folded. It's very heavy and warm! This chair belonged to Josh's grandpa, it's handmade and probably the oldest thing we own. I use it for my sewing chair.

I'm very much an amateur crocheter but I do enjoy it. I have yarn leftover so I may make a pillow to match next. :)
