Our Doodle Stitch Along is coming to a close, here's what I made with all my motifs! It's a mini ticker tape quilt. You can read more about it here, at Lark Craft's blog.
It's been so much fun embroidering together! Thanks so much to everyone who participated. Here are some great versions of last week's free motif:
It doesn't have to end here! Keep stitching, and add your photos to our flickr group! Or, come join the Doodle Stitching group as well. I LOVE to see what you're making from my patterns!

ReplyDeleteThis is very cute :) I love it...
ReplyDeleteI loved your little stitch along! The quilt is cute!
ReplyDeleteThe Lark Crafts web link isn't working..but then tried just typing it in and their web site seems to be down. Hope it works later as I want to see how to make the quilt!
ReplyDeleteAimee, that is such a cute quilt! I need to start sewing and doodle-stitching!
ReplyDeleteBummed I missed it. Quick (am possibly silly question)---do you embroider on the scraps before you sew them on or after and add the backing last?
ReplyDeletethanks everyone!! It was lots of fun!
ReplyDeleteC. Michele: I did the embroidery first, then cut the pieces and stitched them to the back piece. Then the backing/quilting is done last. :)
