Hi Aimee, I just bought Doodle-Stitching and can't wait to try some projects. I wanted to know whether you separate the plies before you thread your needle and then put them together again. I have done cross-stitch and somewhere I was instructed to separate the plies, I think to make things turn out smoother, but I would be happy to eliminate this step. Thoughts? Stephanie
ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie, thanks for picking up my book! I've heard that suggested, but I usually don't bother separating the threads. It does help if you're doing large areas of satin stitch though. :)
