my rag rug

rag rug
I finished my rag rug! It's crocheted from strips of old sheets and fabric. I think it turned out pretty good. It was fun to crochet with such a giant crochet hook, round and round and round. I didn't use a pattern, but this tutorial was quite helpful. This is a great use for thrift store sheets, cheap and easy, and adds some happy color to our living room!

This one is 35 inches across, I'd like to make a few more in different shapes and sizes.

  4. I made one of these several years ago; I still <3 it and it may last forever! The only downside is that when I need to wash it, I have to go to the laundromat and use the double load washer because it is so heavy! If you find a different solution, please let me know....

    gorgeous color choices! very cheery!
