sugar skull pattern

sugar skull

Here's a new PDF pattern for you to embroider! It's a Day of the Dead Calavera sugar skull surrounded by flowers. Day of the Dead is coming up on November 1. If you're not familiar with this Mexican holiday, go read about it here! It's always enlightening to learn about other cultures. :)
I think it looks especially cool stitched up on black but I'd love to see it in whatever colors you can imagine.
Pick up the pattern today at www.littledear.etsy.com

  2. Hi, I was wondering if I could ask you something. I've been over on flickr looking at all the stuff you have made. There is so much of it, so many gorgeous little felties and embroideries etc. What do you do with them all? I know you sell a lot of stuff, but do you still have masses of things that you keep and if you do do you have them out or are they hidden away in boxes. I am really curious, I have this fear of ending up with sooo much stuff (which as a procrastinating type isn't going to happen really, but still I do worry) and nowhere to put them or people to give them to. It's a funny thing to worry about I know!

    1. Hi Sara, I have sold or given away a ton of things, but yes, I do still have some in boxes, and a few faves out on shelves. I really need to purge again and see what I can move on to new homes! I still have most of my embroideries in stacks, I never know quite what to do with them, I kind of have an aversion to framing them. I used to have a bunch of them just tacked up on the wall but I don't have a spare wall now. In the back of my mind I have the idea of having a gallery showing of them all one day, but who knows. :)
