Here's a little something new I'm working on, mini quilts!
This one is about 6x7 inches.
I'm having fun coming up with some random imagery on them, a mix of dreams and fairytale motifs.
I made a tiny patchwork quilt on this one with tiny fabric scraps. I create most of my embroideries without a lot of planning, I just start with an idea sketched in my sketchbook, a simple line drawing on the fabric, and then make up colors and textures as I stitch. I'm planning to try some new techniques with these, they'll each be a one of a kind, tiny work of art.
