more mandalas

I've so enjoyed creating these little nature mandalas this spring. I'm lucky to have a small but wooded yard with plenty of materials to use, and I've been extra delighted to discover mushrooms growing in my yard in these last wet weeks! I've never lived anywhere with access to mushrooms. They have so much personality and are perfect for my little art works.

Here's a collection of some of the mandalas I've made this year. It's both freeing and contemplative to make something fleeting. Maybe no one but me and the fairies enjoy them, but it's worth it.
