"Hello, I'm Nora Lapin."
I've been working on this bunny girl doll for a long time off and on. She's finished and I took her out for some pictures today.
She is made from a small wooden artist's model so she is posable, she stands 8 inches high. Her head was sculpted from paperclay and painted with watercolors. All of her clothes were hand sewn by me of felt and fabric, hand embroidered, and her neck warmer was crocheted. She also has a little needle felted puff tail (which is hidden of course. ;)
I had fun taking pictures of her today! I made this little forest in my yard out of dried out sedum, I think it makes perfect mini trees!
I was going to sell her but I don't know if I can let her go! She'll be keeping me company for awhile at least. I do want to make more dolls in the future! She was a fun project. :) You can see some more of my custom doll projects in my flickr set.

She's beautiful! You did an amazing job creating her! :)
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious! Maybe you should keep her as your prototype and make a few others to sell. I bet they would sell about 5 minutes after you list them!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love her! So wonderfully adorable!

ReplyDeleteAmazing and wonderful. You have to keep her. She seems so precious!
ReplyDeleteShe is soo pretty! You really should keep her as your prototype as she is the first one and so special but now that you have the right idea you could make some others,in a similar style and you are sure to sell them!
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much! She was a labor of love, I'm very happy with how she turned out. :)
