Mermaid Circle

mermaids circle
I stitched up a new embroidery pattern, mermaids! I've always loved mermaids, it's kind of surprising I've waited til now to embroider them. I actually drew these girls years ago, dug them out recently and turned them into a new pattern. You can get the PDF pattern in my shop and stitch them up yourself! I used crayon tinting (you can find my tutorial on that right here) and DMC color gradient floss for this one. It's fun to work with, it changes colors as you stitch! I had a hard time choosing what colors to use, I'd love to see this done in aqua blues and greens! I like these pinky orange colors too though. :)
Enjoy!

  11. I found your blog via 'feeling stitchy' - this is such a beautiful pattern! It was my childhood ambition to become a mermaid, so I might just have to make this as a stitched substitute!
