doll collection artwork

dollies
Here are my doll collections designs in progress, we were supposed to create a "robust, full, hyper lush" piece of art for a zipper pouch. I did the one on the bottom first, throwing EVERYTHING in (twice) and then decided that was overload and simplified it quite a bit for the top version. Which do you prefer? ( I had way too much fun drawing dolls in Illustrator for this! ;)

  3. I like them both. I think I prefer the top one though? But I'm not sure! You are lucky to play with illustrator, it's so expensive if you haven't got it. Prohibitively so. I want it but can't possibly justify the expense on something I have never used, just to see if I get along with it. I feel I'm missing out though.

    1. Illustrator is fun, I have it because I use it for my design work. It is expensive, but a necessary tool of my trade. :)

  4. Your doll collection turned out beautiful! I love the colors. If I had to pick a zipper pouch while shopping I would probably pick the second one, but the top version is so beautiful as well!
