I just received my advance copies of my newest Doodle Stitching book, The Holiday Motif Collection! I'm so thrilled to share it with you, I can't wait to see what you create this Christmas!
We gathered some super talented guest designers to help create some of the projects in this book, and they did an awesome job. Besides my own designs, the book includes projects by some of my favorite crafters: John Q. Adams (that's his pillow on the cover), Carina Envoldsen-Harris, Laura Howard, Mollie Johanson, Annie Kight, and Teresa Mairal Barreu.
While most of the projects are Christmasy, (it's never too early to start sewing Christmas presents!) the 300+ motifs in the book cover holidays throughout the year, including Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's and Father's Day, Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, Hanukah and lots more. Plus TONS of Christmas and winter imagery, you'll never be at a loss for what to stitch on those holiday gifts. Also included is a CD with digital files to make it easy to size, print and arrange your own patterns from the motifs.
I'm giving you a chance to get a copy free! Just leave a comment here, let me know what handmade holiday gifts you have in mind for this year. I'll pick a random winner one week from today, Friday, Sept. 19. Please be sure to leave an email or web address so I can contact you if you win!!
Good Luck!

But as always, I'll be sending family and close friends embroidered Christmas cards, so a copy of your book would make it so much easier :)

ReplyDeleteOoohhhh I am so excited about this! I must confess, though, I'm not much of a holiday handmade gift giver. I don't know many people who would "get" or appreciate handmade gifts, except for my wife. So maybe this year I will FINALLY make her a hand embroidered advent calendar!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway!
I make ornaments every year - last year I made white stars with feather stitch embroidery and beading...this year - candle mats! I'm also working on a quilt for my son and finishing up an advent calendar for his girlfriend. Looks like a wonderful book - I'll be adding it to the wish list on Amazon!
ReplyDeleteHi, I try to make a few handmade gifts each year, usually for my daughter an my little nieces. I've made little dolls, lap quilts, embroidered pillow cases but not sure yet what this year's things will be!
