I've completed two stitched messes, 4-inch (unconventional ;) embroidery art framed in hoops and ready to hang.
Choose yellow or blue! They're in my shop today. www.littledear.etsy.com
I started saving little scraps of embroidery thread that were too short to stitch with, they look so pretty in a pile together! I couldn't throw them away. (call me insane. ;) But it turns out they have a higher purpose, I've stitched them together onto fabric to be preserved in their disheveled form as art, as a reminder that trash can be treasure, beauty can come from unlikely places.

I love this! I save my thread scraps too, but I didn't know what I was going to do with them...this gives me ideas!!
ReplyDeleteI have my thread scraps and my too small fabric scraps saved and have ideas but have not used them yet. I need more darker scraps of both for what I have in mind.
